"Boss Radio", produced + directed by Cabin44
When I started performing in Detroit -- back in late '09, early '10 -- one crew I was drawn to was the Loco Gnosis collective, whose roster was brimming with sonically alluring bands. The head honcho of said collective, Jeff Howitt, approached me at New Center Park in September of 2010, asking if I'd contribute a verse to a new song his band Duende! had been playing, called "Boss Radio". I happily obliged.
We debuted it the following week at the DIY Street Fair, and have continued to perform it ever since. We finally recorded the collaboration in June, and it was released this past Friday on Bellyache Records.
You can download BOSS RADIO at rapraprapraprap.com, as well as purchase the 7" vinyl. The flip side is a new Passalacqua song with Duende! called "Detroit J" (which is available at TomAndBootsy.com).
